Carol and Mac

When Carol and Mac got married they decided to start fostering rather than have their own child as Carol already had four children from her first marriage. In the last 14 years that they have been fostering it has made them and their children appreciate their own lives:

"Our children have been wonderful with fostering. It worked beautifully - they had so much and these children who came to live with us had so little. They never said that to the children, that's what they said to us.

"It's amazing the insight children can have, and it made me feel so proud of them. We've done the lot - we've had mother and baby, father and baby, teenagers, and long-term. Now our children have grown up we care for the little ones."
